AZ Future Stars was founded by Santiago Perez, a former professional baseball player whose career spanned 13 years. Born in the Dominican Republic, Santiago grew up with a deep love for the game and a strong sense of gratitude for the opportunities baseball gave him. When his playing days came to an end, he set his sights on a new goal: sharing his experience, skills, and passion with the next generation.

What began in 2012 with just one team has grown into an award-winning, highly respected organization known for both competitive excellence and player development. Over the years, AZ Future Stars has seen its athletes achieve great success, with many continuing their baseball careers at the collegiate level.

 

Our mission has always been simple: to teach the game the right way, instill discipline and sportsmanship, and create opportunities for young athletes to dream big and achieve even more. For every boy who steps onto the field with us, we aim to provide not just equal, but greater opportunities than the ones that inspired our own journey.
